PRETTIES

Sanderson Fabrics and Wallcoverings 1I just came across the Sanderson website. (I know, I know... they have only been around since 1860, how could I not know of them?) They represent some really great wallcoverings and fabrics. You can also download some of their brochures, if you are interested.

Thank you to all that have entered the succulent note card giveaway. I will be randomly selecting two winners from the comments of that particular post tonight at 7pm pacific time. That means there is still time to drop me a quick line to enter! I'll announce those selected on Friday morning, then all I need are the mailing addresses and the card sets are off!Sanderson Fabrics and Wallcoverings 2Sanderson Fabrics and Wallcoverings 3Sanderson Fabrics and Wallcoverings 4Sanderson Fabrics and Wallcoverings 5

MODERN CRAFT

Vica | furniture by Selldorf ArchitectsI posted some of the work of Selldorf Architects yesterday, but did you get a chance to admire their product line, Vica? The grain of walnut bed is so lovely... the organic curves juxtaposed to the clean lines of the bed frame... love it.

Oh, don't forget that the succulent note card giveaway ends Thursday!

SCRIBBLE

Jocelyn Warner wallpaper 1Jocelyn Warner's wallpapers are brilliant. There are great color and pattern combinations to choose from. Right now, as you can see from the title of the post, I am really into Scribble, but then again, I love the large-scale pattern of Oval, as well. So many good ones to choose from!Jocelyn Warner wallpaper 2Jocelyn Warner wallpaper 3

BE MY GUEST

Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors Designer's Guest HouseSomeday I hope I to have one of these little guys so you can be my guest. Heck, its so beautiful, I'd make it the main house. Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors has done an amazing job with this space. I love the shake siding, deep ebony floors mixed with all the wood tones, the art selections, ooo and my favorite cherner side chair. Betty also represents some amazing artists. PRINTS

I came across this lovely Australian store, blink design. How come I didn't know about them already? They use their great textile designs to create home accessories as well as apparel and handbags. I also loved the clocks and tea towels below. Love 'em...

INTEGRATION

Darryl Carter 1Darryl Carter 2Darryl Carter 3I have been so inspired by Darryl Carter's portfolio lately. Each item seems to be an integral piece to the room's composition; color, texture, mixing new items with antiques. Darryl has been featured in Metropolitan Home, House Beautiful, Elle Decor, to name a few. I'll post a few of his lighting products in a little bit.Darryl Carter 4Darryl Carter 5Darryl Carter 6Darryl Carter 7

UNOBSTRUCTED

Alison Spear Interiors 1Alison Spear Interiors 2I love to see how different designers utilize lucite (or glass) furniture in their spaces. Award-winning designer Alison Spear's own dining room is a great example (above). The images of her space just feel good, don't they? Open... fresh. She also uses these lucite chairs in her commercial project for Genki Sushi (below).Alison Spear Interiors 3Alison Spear Interiors 4
And finally, look at this lucite table on craigslist!?! You can pick up the Angela Adams rug, too!Lucite Coffee Table
…hope everyone had a nice weekend. The long Memorial Day weekend was definitely well received in the StetsonThompson household, so relaxing.

LEVEL 14

Brave Space Design 1I have a confession. I am addicted to Tetris on my mobile phone. It takes me back to the good ol' Super Nintendo days (insert sigh here). However, there is a level, a level I cannot surpass... level 14. My fingers just can't move fast enough to get the proper lock-up. Lucky for me, Brave Space Design has with their Tetrad shelving system.Brave Space Design 2Brave Space Design 3
I love the asymmetry of the Stagger collection as well. Actually, I love it all.Brave Space Design 4Brave Space Design 5

NESTING

Real Simple June 2008The new dresser got the ball rolling... We dropped off one giant load to Goodwill on Sunday afternoon and then I was able to relax and pick up the June issue of Real Simple. Guess where I turned? Yup, to the "99 low-cost organizing ideas" article. It seems this nesting season isn't quite over...

Some of my favorites:
PileSmart binder clips{ No 04 } "If you tend to make piles, use PileSmart binder clips—equipped with erasable labels—to fasten papers together by categorey and quickly find what you need. TO BUY: $10/12, www.pendaflex.com"

{ No 44 } "To prevent jewelry tangles while traveling, place your necklaces and bracelets on a sheet of bubble wrap, roll up the sheet, and secure with tape."

{ No 69 } works well with No 44 "Take an extra pill box with you on your next vacation. It's great for stashing earrings and rings."

MadeSmart Housewares{ No 90 } "Separate muffin tins from cutting boards with the MadeSmart Housewares space-saving bakeware holder. TO BUY: $15, www.sears.com

TIGHT

M. Design Interiors on MStetsonThis little kitchen reminded me of mine... I tried red before the chalkboard paint and my oven is only 20". (Cute, maybe, but when trying to do a thanksgiving dinner... not so much.)

I really enjoy browsing M. Design Interors' portfolio, both residential and commercial. It seems every time I take a look, I am admiring a new combination or detail by Molly Luetkemeyer. Do you see that greek key lucite table above!?!

DIVIDED

I'm digging 3-form's room dividers, Parametre. I just came across them on 2Modern and had to share. Some of you that were lucky enough to attend the New York Gift Show or last years ICFF may have already seen them. They are made from a non-woven polyester that has the appearance of paper, but is more durable and has been UV coated. Apartment Therapy has a great photo of the color options. I could imagine using these a few places.

Can't wait to see what they release at this year's ICFF. (Not that I get to go… did that sound a little bitter? Geez.)

NICHE

I am sorry, but I just love these Niche Modern pendants. Hand-blown glass, transluscent colors, exposed bulbs and filaments... understated and gorgeous. I love to check in on their site every now and then to see what's new. Mmm... amber, smoke… sapphire... yes, please.

LIGHT UP MY LIFE

I just can’t get over these lights from Angus Hutcheson. Their forms are so brilliant. I want them all: floor, table, pendants and sconces. Check them out at MulĂ©h or FORDBRADY.

Happy May Day!

LIGHT THE FIRE

Trying to relax this morning before a busy afternoon, I grabbed my May magazines, some Yorkshire Gold and headed to the deck. (It’s hot already; Sunday is supposed to be 95˚F! I opted to trade in the hot tea for some chilled mango lemonade after a few sun-glistening minutes.) Then the pages of Domino flopped opened to their outdoor furniture guide. Coincidence, perhaps. Inspiration, definitely. We have lived in our condo for almost three years and I have yet to conquer the deck. I think I will dedicate the next few weekends to its completion… some new pots, plants and succulents, outdoor pillows and cushions, maybe even a little umbrella...

I wish I lived closer to Terrain...
